Dr. James Trofimuk – Dr. Trofimuk graduated from the University of Alberta, faculty of dentistry in 1986 and has been practicing in Calgary since 1987. He has been involved in nearly every aspect of dentistry and prides himself in taking nearly double the required number of continuing education hours to maintain a dental license in Alberta.

Dr. Trofimuk has attended advanced clinical courses in the United States and Canada by some of the world’s best-known dental practitioners. This allows him to be up to date on the latest techniques in restorative (e.g. Fillings and crowns) and aesthetic (smile design) dentistry.

Dr. Trofimuk has appeared on the A-Channel’s: the Big Breakfast Show and on CFCN’s Health Watch with Karen Owen, as well as being interviewed by CBC radio.

In 2001, Dr. Trofimuk Opened Optimum Dentistry with the vision of treating patients the way he would like to be treated: Individualized, personal care using state of the are technologies and techniques.

The team at Optimum Dentistry is committed to making our patients’ visits comfortable and efficient.

Mandy: is the receptionist/office administrator. She has fifteen years experience in the health field in Europe as well as Canada. She is extremely personable and always puts the patients first.

Sheryl: is Dr. Trofimuk’s assistant. Her warm personality and infectious smile puts patients at ease. She makes a person feel at home.

Margaret and Bernadine: are the dental hygienists. Their gentle and caring ways help patients understand the status of the gum health in a non-lecturing manner.

Sue: is the recare scheduler. Sue ensures patient’s hygiene recare visits are not forgotten. Her friendly reminders will ensure you are on top of your regular maintenance visits.
